The P226 is the pistol that set the standard by which all other combat handguns are measured. It is used by the U.S. Navy SEALs, federal agents, and numerous law enforcement agencies across the country. This Full Size model has an aluminum alloy frame with a hard coat anodized finish, stainless steel slide with a nitron finish, and accessory rail. This model has SigLite night sights and comes with two 15RD magazines.

The P229 Legion SAO features a SIG Mastershop-inspired trigger and is finished in Cerakote® Elite Legion gray coating, custom G-10 grips with a Legion medallion, the new SIG SAUER Electro-Optics X-RAY3 high visibility day/night sights, Optics cut slide and will ship with three magazines. The P229 in SAO includes a reduced and contoured Elite beavertail, which allows for a higher grip, but a reduced profile, thus eliminating printing. More aggressive front strap checkering and additional checkering under the trigger guard enhance the grip. An X-Five undercut has been applied to the trigger guard, allowing for a higher grip and greater control. Front cocking serrations provide greater purchase for cycling the action, clearing the firearm, or conducting press checks. The pistol is available in 9mm, features a low profile slide catch lever and thumb safety to reduce the risk of snagging. In addition, a solid steel guide rod adds weight where it matters most.

SIG SAUER P229 E2 15 round magazine for 9mm E2 P229 models. These magazines will not fit P228's or P229 9mm's that typically use 9mm 13RD magazines. The E2 and some of the recent P229 9mm models use a .40S&W frame which has a larger diameter magazine well. Matte phosphate finish.
