The hole in the base plate was too small for my P229 40 cal mags. Not a big deal, a couple minutes with a Dremel and they worked fine. Just FYI.

Awesome! I own a Sig Sauer P220 in 10mm. It bugs me that Sig couldn't make their 10mm magazine with the exact same dimensions as the .45 ACP 8 round mag hold 9 rounds. So, I bought the .45 ACP mag as an experiment. The .45 mag does not have the indentations that run the full length to vertically stack the 10mm rounds. On the .45 mag these indentations only run the first inch or so from the top. The smaller diameter 10mm rounds in the .45 mag can stagger slightly allowing me to load 9 rounds of 10mm in the .45 ACP mag. The .45 mag functions perfectly in my 10mm P220

Recently bought a new gun and wanted additional magazines. Recently purchased some 17 round Mec-Gar magazines for this gun from TG Supply and really liked them. Noticed that the Mec-Gar +2 adapter plate was sold as a separate item from TG Supply and that it worked with Sig SP2022 9MM magazines and decided to purchase several. To me that +2 adapter gives some additional surface to grip the gun better. When inserted, there is a noticeable gap between the magazine and the mag well on both guns (more so on the 2022) but it doesn’t interfere with functionality nor does it adversely affect the grip feel on either gun. It’s more cosmetic than functional. I have these +2 adapter plates on magazines for my new P229 E2 and on my 2022 and am very pleased for having done so. Having and using these adapters for extra capacity and for additional grip surface contact on both guns I use them on compliments my EDC profile. No regrets at all about the decision to purchase these Mec-Gar +2 adapters from TG Supply.
