The MR918 name comes from the idea of creating a true “multi-role” pistol. The size and operating system of the multiple role pistol is inspired by the Glock Gen4 G19 model, but many aspects have been redesigned. Designed to dramatically decrease recoil and muzzle flip it features a double undercut trigger guard. Comes with a slightly extended beavertail to prevent slide bites and ships with 3 interchangeable backstraps that provide backup for high, neutral and low natural point of aim. The trigger is a polymer flat face design with a 4-4.5l bs trigger pull. The 4" barrel is machined from 416R stainless steel and is fluted to improve evacuation of debris and reduce weight. Equipped with metal solid black rear and a high visibility outlined green tritium front sight. The slide is Optic Ready cut for Trijicon RMR or Holosun and features a lower 1/3 co-witness. Ships with 2 magazines and a soft pistol case. The Elite model MR918's have a specifically engineered window cut to reduce weight slightly for optimal recoil impulse and fast sight recovery.
