Griffin Armament Recce 5 Suppressor - 5.56mm

The Recce 5 (MOD 3) is the compact 5.56mm little brother to the Recce 7. It is one of the lightest most durable, accurate, and high performance 5.56mm suppressors on the market. The Recce 5, weighs only 14.5 ounces on it's own and a mere 16.3 ounces as a suppressor system with the included Taper Mount Minimalist Brake. The included Taper Mount ensures minimal and repeatable point of impact shift with only minor weight gain. The Recce 5 achieves out of this world sound performance vs its size. Utilizing our Patented Efficiency baffle technology this compact suppressor drops SPL by 35db on a 14.5" M4 while keeping gas blow-back to normal levels. To increase performance for military users a high efficiency low profile flash suppressor was integrated into the front of the suppressor. This feature reduces flash, providing minimal signature for the user in low light environments.

Griffin Armament Revolution 9, Modular 36 Cal

The original Revolution® 9 & 45 suppressors were the first pistol silencers developed and brought to market with a modular length feature set, and that Griffin innovation inspired all the other modular length pistol suppressors in the US marketplace. The (MOD 4) Revolution® 9 suppressor represents a total redesign around of package of end user feature interaction enhancements, making the suppressor more secure and easier to mount, as well as fast and easy to configure in length, and easy to disassemble, at vastly increased maintenance intervals. The forward extension allows tool-less reconfiguration, and the O-ring biased extension and front cap prevent inadvertent loosening of the extension or cap. The booster housing (mount accessory interface socket) is permanently installed so tightening and loosening the suppressor does not result in loosening of the booster housing. The housing accepts pistons, fixed barrel mounts and spacers, our Griffin developed industry first integrated 3 lug mount, as well as Plan A mounts.
Another major improvement introduced in the MOD 4 generation is the incorporation of Griffin’s patented CARBON-GARD™ baffle technology. This concept, originally debuted in the Checkmate HD suppressor, has applications for pistol suppressors to make cleaning and maintenance of the suppressor easier even after very high round counts. High temp silicon o-rings are positioned at each baffle interface as well as the end cap, blast chamber, and extension tubes to fully seal gases and carbon within the baffle stack. This gas seal prevents lead and carbon fouling from building up between the tube body and the baffle stack, eliminating instances of the baffle core being carbon locked inside of the tube body, a condition that is very annoying for the end user. Revolution® MOD 4 Suppressors ship with an included EZ-LOK™ piston providing a more secure, and rapid mounting system than direct thread. Infinity — We decided to call this project Infinity early on because we wanted this to be a suppressor that will last you forever, you can pass down to your grandchildren and it last them forever too. Also because of it’s adjustability and ability to be configured to any host you have. It’s also marks our entry into the low back pressure market. Notice I didn’t say no back pressure, I said lowER back pressure. We wanted this suppressor to straddle the line of suppressors with zero back pressure that sound like a pipe bomb and suppressors with high back pressure that sound great. There’s no free lunch when it comes to sound suppression. You either have a suppressor that’s loud with zero gas to the face or you have a suppressor that’s quiet with some uncomfortable gas to the face, it just is what it is. We wanted a suppressor that could ride the middle ground line and venture to both sides of the line depending on what the user wanted. So let’s cut through the bull shit and get down to the nitty gritty of what this suppressor does and what makes it unique. We knew we wanted it to be 7.62 bore with changeable end caps. We knew we wanted it to have great 7.62 performance but let’s not kid ourselves, 99% of users buying a 7.62 bore suppressor are using it on 5.56 most of the time. So the 5.56 performance also had to be on point. We developed the general sound profile using 7.62 and then further dialed it in and refined it using 5.56 – we made over 100 prototypes in almost 2 years of testing finding just the right combination that does just as good on 5.56 as an actual 5.56 bore suppressor while still offering great 7.62 performance AND works well being vented or unvented.
