My 2005 SigP229 was overdue for the upgraded trigger spring, so ordered a new trigger spring and when it arrived was installed in five minutes, topgunsupply.com thanks for the authentic sig replacement part.

As usual, top notch service from TGS.
I use the Blazer aluminum at "lost brass" matches. Always go bang, decent accuracy and good price.
(I use the Blazer brass too but not when I can't police up the cases!)

This is a great addition to any Sig P series pistol. It eliminates the issue that some people have of riding the slide release and stopping the pistol from locking back when empty.

I had issues with my p229 elites trigger sticking back and not resetting. After a little research I found out it was most likely the trigger bar spring. Easy install no gun smithing or anything required like that. Spring is located under the right grip panel. Put a few hundred rounds through the firearm since and no issues.
