Perfect fit with the receiver and keeps the spring set tight against the guide rod. No problems at all.

Purchased to replace the factory hollow guide rod on a Police trade-in P226. This guide rod seems to be one or two thousandths over spec as the spring would barely go on. The spring fits so snugly around the rod that it sticks and doesn't freely compress and expand. I don't know how this will affect function of my P226. Once installed it seems to cycle the action as it should but I have yet to be able to fire the weapon and confirm. I suspect the spring will loosen up its tolerances and this will be fine but I won't know for sure until I've had enough time behind the gun. I would have given 5 stars otherwise.
