The compact-sized MR920 Combat took its inspiration from its predecessor, the MR918 Combat. The DNA of the pistol is the same as the MR918, but there have been some significant changes to the features and function which make this pistol work for more people. The features and price point of the MR920 Combat model make it the perfect EDC pistol.

The MR918’s frame set a new benchmark for low recoil and controllability in rapid-fire. The MR920 draws many of its design cues from the MR918, but the dust cover now includes a recoil control ledge for the support hand thumb. This control point further reduces muzzle flip in rapid-fire. The frame of the MR920 continues to feature the NPOA backstrap system which adjusts the ANGLE of the backstrap to match the shooter’s natural point of aim. The pistol system includes three backstraps, a removable magazine well, and a backstrap removal tool for your convenience.

Our frame is a ground-up Shadow Systems design, not a rebrand of another frame already on the market. Our tooling uses new technology to wrap more texture around the curves of the frame and put the grip in places not normally seen on production guns.

The slide and barrel are machined in-house in Plano, TX. Barrels are 1-10″ conventionally rifled 416R stainless steel. Barrels are coated in super hard Bronze Titanium Carbo-nitride or Black Nitride. Slides are machined from 17-4 PH stainless steel and coated in Nitride.

Slides feature front and rear directional serrations. These serrations provide excellent traction when manipulating the slide, but are relatively frictionless when drawing the pistol from a holster. The MR920 features deeply recessed front serrations and corner chamfers. This thinned front profile gives greater control and reduces the difficulty of inserting the pistol into a holster, particularly a partially collapsed IWB holster.

Includes 2 magazines & zippered soft case

Must ship to a U.S. FFL dealer

Well I've had this pistol for a few months. I'm totally a Glock a guy for what I would choose to go to battle with. I love other brands Like Sig, Kimber, Colt and Smith and Wesson M&P but as for Battle or Home and Carry protection I'll always grab a Glock first.. It's a pretty nice Gun I like the looks kind of like a Gucci Glock I thought I'd like the red dot on it but to be honest I've been shooting since 1982 very well without them. I totally have over 500 rounds of varies 124 grain FMJ and about 100 rounds of Hollow points several brands Hornady,Federal,Underwood 147,124,135 and some 90 grain +P and +P+I have had absolutely no malfunctions from round one!! Just like most of the 15 Glocks I've owned or own. I rarely carry and Glock 19 unless it's in a Holster in the Vehicle. But this Mr920 is much lighter than my Glock 19 gen 3 or Gen 5 or my 19x. The Trigger is so so actually I don't like it. I prefer the Gen 5 Trigger over this one and even the M&P and the Sig P365. I would say this trigger is more defensive with a harder pull than all of those.I like the ability to change the back straps a lot I found the middle one to feel best for me. The Smallest feels ok but my pinky was feeling pinched on some plus P loads and for that range session I had to grip it like the Glock26/27 with my 2 middle fingers. The magwell is nice but I prefer the no magwell with the middle back strap and a TLR1 light on it to add a little weight. The recoil is about the same as a Glock 19 Gen 3 but the Glock is a bit heavier. The sights are ok but personally I think I like the 3 dot better especially with low or little light on the range. I did mount the Holson 507c and it mounted well and it was easy to do but like I said I took it off. MY Gun is very accurate but so are all my Glocks.I thought maybe the threaded Barrel would come in handy someday if I get a suppressor... It comes with a rubber O ring which is annoying because the thread protector has to be screwed back on every few mags at the range. I used Blue lock tight let it dry like ten minutes and moved it back and forth now it stays pretty secure and I have no trouble removing it to clean my Weapon after every range day like a Good USMC Veteran should. As for Top Gun supply they are awesome I drive 50 miles to their Store because they have Finer Firearms in Stock and they are Great to Work with and they Give me Pens With their Name on em :)
