Ruger's Mark IV features a simple, one-button takedown for quick and easy field-stripping and proper chamber to muzzle cleaning. The recessed button in the back of the frame allows the upper receiver to tilt up and off of the grip frame without the use of tools. Its internal cylindrical bolt construction ensures permanent sight to barrel alignment, while the contoured ejection port and easy-to-grasp bolt ears allow for durable and reliable operation. The accurate sighting system features a drilled and tapped receiver for Weaver- or Picatinny-style rail. The Mark IV is a single action and utilizes an ambidextrous manual safety, push-button magazine release located on the left side, and an ergonomic bolt stop. It has a rugged construction with through-hardened steel slide and one-piece, high-performance, glass-filled nylon grip frame. Textured grip frame provides a secure and comfortable grip, while a larger grip frame surface provides better distribution of recoil forces. Fixed front and rear sights are integral to the slide, while the hammer is recessed within the slide. Includes finger grip extension floorplate that can be added to the magazine for comfort and improved grip. The LCPII Utilizes Ruger's safe, reliable and proven Secure Action fire-control system that combines a protected internal hammer with a bladed-safety trigger. Safety features include an integrated trigger safety; neutrally balanced sear with significant engagement and strong spring tension; and hammer catch to help prevent the hammer from contacting the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled. Ruger's Precision Rimfire rifle features a molded, one-piece chassis and a Quick-Fit adjustable buttstock assembly manufactured with glass-filled nylon for strength, stiffness and stability, making a solid foundation. The adjustable buttstock also has a flat Picatinny bag rider, molded-in window which provides a tether point for your squeeze bag, and a metal QD pocket. Its 15" free-float handguard is made of aluminum and features Magpul M-Lok slots on all four sides, while the Picatinny scope base includes 30 MOA elevation. The target, cold hammer-forged, 4140 alloy steel barrel has ultra precise rifling and 1/2"x28 threads with an included thread protector. The MKIV includes other significant improvements such as a one-piece grip frame that is precision CNC-machined from a solid piece of aluminum alloy; an ambidextrous manual safety and a redesigned bolt stop for more ergonomic operation. The magazine drops free on release for faster reloads and a redesigned magazine disconnect safety prevents discharge when the magazine has been removed. Internal improvements include changes to the hammer, sear, bolt and firing pin for smoother, more reliable feeding. Specific features vary by model, but the legendary, one-piece barreled receiver and internal cylindrical bolt construction remain the same. The robust design ensures permanent sight-to-barrel alignment and higher accuracy potential than conventional moving-slide designs. Includes two 10-round magazines.
