Magpul MOE SL Hand Guard Mid-Length AR15 - FLAT DARK EARTH

Made in the USA, the MOE SL Hand Guard for AR15/M4 firearms with mid-length gas system and A2 front sight provides modular flexibility with M-LOK accessory slots in a lightweight, sleek, cost effective design. Reinforced, heat-resistant polymer construction provides operational durability without the weight and expense of an aluminum rail hand guard, integral riveted aluminum heat shield. M-LOK slots at the two, six and ten o'clock positions allow the attachment of optional Picatinny rail sections and other direct attach M-LOK accessories for the mounting of tactical lights, slings, grips, etc. A large front extension and lower lip protects the user from the hot front sight assembly and maximizes useable hand guard length. Easy to install utilizing existing delta ring and round front hand guard retaining cap with A2 front sight assembly*. Note- the Mid-Length MOE SL Hand Guard is a direct replacement for most factory plastic, two-piece, mid-length hand guards and requires a ROUND front hand guard retaining cap and rear spring-loaded delta ring (some mid-length firearms are equipped with a triangular retaining cap and are not compatible). Not compatible with piston operated AR platforms. Must be used with the A2 front sight assembly as other gas blocks are not compatible. If so equipped, the factory sling swivel must be removed from the A2 front sight assembly.

The Zhukov Hand Guard offers an extended option for modern shooting techniques, polymer outer, aluminum chassis for strength and heat dispersion, a comfortable injection molded exterior for superior ergonomics, extended length provides large gripping surface for modern shooting techniques and M-LOK slots at the three, six and nine o'clock positions for mounting direct-attach M-LOK accessories or M-LOK 1913 Picatinny rail sections. Full length, hard anodized, aluminum chassis clamps directly to barrel and provides for flex-free mounting as well as excellent heat shielding. Mounts to most AK-47/AKM/AK-74 rifles with barrels between 16.75-18.25 mm in diameter under the hand guard and greater than 13" in length*. Compatible with the Ultimak gas tube rail for optics mounting, the Zhukov Hand Guard redefines functionality for the modern AK platform. Includes replacement polymer top cover, compatible with UltiMAK Optics Mount top cover.*NOTE: The Zhukov Hand Guard requires the permanent removal of the factory hand guard retaining cap and forward sling mount if so equipped. Please ensure your barrel diameter under the hand guard falls between 16.75-18.25 millimeters before cutting your retaining cap.
