Today, the PTR-91 company produces its rifles and precision components in a U.S. facility, employing state-of-the-art processes. The PTR name stands for Precision Target Rifle, and the company’s gunsmiths and engineers have taken the classic German G3 design to a higher level. The result is a modern rifle based on a proven background. These firearms come with match grade bull barrels and are chambered for .308 or 7.62 NATO caliber. The action comes from a roller-delayed blowback system. The PTR-91 Paratrooper rifle has a tri-rail tactical handguard and German paratrooper collapsible stock. The handguards are machined from hard anodized aluminum to military specifications. At Top Gun Supply, we’ve also got the dependable gun mags for these quality rifles. They’re manufactured from aluminum alloy with a stainless steel follower.
