This ST-3® family Thread Sealant is a liquid applicant that once applied and allowed to dry, provides a elastic gasket around the threaded component, allowing threads to stay tight during severe vibration. The product not only provides a 2000 psi sealant gasket, but components can be taken apart and re assembled several times with a single application meaning it does not need to be cleaned off and re-applied after every use. To use simply apply a thin film with a Q tip or similar applicator. Allow to air dry for a minimum of an hour. Thread product together and enjoy. After multiple assembly reassembly of the threaded component you will at some point need to brush the thread clean and reapply the process. This half ounce container contains ~50 applications of product. Examples of application for Griffin products:
Do not use on pistol piston retainers or 3 lug rear caps. We recommend Horse Jipe™ 2300° for those applications. |
