Although the Springfield M1A Carbine is commonly used as a patrol rifle by the police, keep it's versatility in mind for hunting, too. An excellent rifle for deer, elk, and other large game, the .308 round does the trick. I have killed a number of deer quite easily with this easy to carry and shoot rifle. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to use a 7.672 round for hunting large game.
