Glock Spring Loaded Bearings

If you have the know-how to switch out parts on a Glock, let us be your work partner, by providing all sizes and types of equipment. Upon disassembling the slide assembly, you will find a number of components, including Glock Spring Loaded Bearings. The spring loaded bearings (SLBs) are part of the extractor depressor plunger assembly and are color coded according to caliber. For example, for a 9mm, you would choose the black SLB. The newer styles of loaded chamber indicator (LCI) bearings are designed to be used only with LCI extractors. This is because LCI Glock spring loaded bearings are shorter than the original bearings of the same caliber. However, you can use the original SLBs with either type of extractor, old or new. We make it simple to order the right spring loaded bearings for your 9mm, .45/10mm or .40/.357. The .40/.357 part comes in LCI and non-LCI.

The bearings are accessible after the removal of the firing pin assembly. This assembly and the extractor depressor plunger are under tension in the gun, so take steps to avoid flying parts. If you’ve lost one of these pieces, our comprehensive menu of Glock parts should have a replacement. The complete extractor depressor plunger assembly consists of the extractor depressor plunger, extractor depressor plunger spring and the spring loaded bearing. Though the list of Glock handgun parts only adds up to a number in the thirties for each model, you may need to consult with a skilled gunsmith when making some replacements. There are a few essential tools for maintaining a Glock. Look through our selection of tools to own the ideal ones for Glock dis-assembly. If you have a question on any of our gun parts, just contact us. We’ll get back with you right away!
