This my second Kimber Raptor. This time in 9mm the first one was a 45 about 7 years ago I had issues sent it back to Kimber they cobbed it up so I sold it.This my 3rd Kimber the first was a CDP Pro it was flawless in .45 acp but as times are changing I really wanted a 1911 in 9mm. I have been shooting a 1911 since I was a Marine in 1982 I love the platform but 45acp is a little expensive to shoot as often as I like to. So back to the Raptor in 9mm! What a joy to shoot it's totally the most accurate 1911 I have ever shot. I had a few failure to feed with Hollow points in the first couple mags but after a 100 rounds or so I it was shooting them very well. 124 grain and 135 grain with some 147 grain some underwood 90 grain everything was reliable. It's Beautiful to look at and it's very nice to shoot. I didn't shoot any 115 grain I normally use Nato 124 grain or Federal or Blazer Brass 124 grain. It's an all steel Pistol so it's kind of stout in the hand with no real recoil. Mine is a keeper!!

Needed this thread protector for my newly acquired barrel for a standard/older VP9. It works and shipped/arrived in a timely manner.

Well made part. Does work as advertised. Allows MUCH BETTER mag release than the OEM P365 part but at the cost of sticking out from the frame MUCH FURTHER than I thought from the picture. Could have been made lower I think. Not comfortable at times when shooting. Great for what it does...but I wish I could return it.
