The Wilson Combat Speed-Chute is comprised of two pieces and held firmly together with the mainspring housing pin through the frame. The mainspring housing is checkered for a positive grip. The magazine well makes magazine reloads positive and quick! If you preferred to carry you 1911 without the magazine well, you can just pop out the mainspring housing pin, remove the mag well and re-install the pin. It is very easily changed for range use, competitive shooting or concealed carry. Your choice! The Speed Chute is designed for full size Government models and Commander sized 1911 frames.
