| New for 2014, the Ed Brown Special Forces 2 Krypteia Edition. Built to the specifications of Krypteia Strategies, a consulting company who works closely with Tier 1 operational units within the military and law enforcement, Krypteia gathered feedback and preferences from units when designing their version of a combat pistol. Krypteia has taken the classic and proven 1911 design and added modern day features and enhancements that current operators in theater prefer. Such enhancements include an oversized magwell for fast, consistent reloads, aggressive chainlink II pattern on the front strap and mainspring housing (feels similar to 20LPI), forward cocking serrations, black 10-8 u-notch rear sight, front night sight, Gen 4 Bronze coated frame, and aggressive VZ Operator II grips round out the package to make this an all business self-defense pistol. Ships with case, manual, and (2) mags.
