Bar-Sto Barrels

Stainless steel Bar-Sto Barrels can convert a Sig Sauer handgun from .40/357 to 9mm. We stock the semi-drop in conversion barrels by Bar-Sto in stock lengths for Sig P series models. You are sure to find a Bar-Sto barrel at any major pistol tournament, nationally or internationally. This barrel brand has helped competitors win elite events such as the Steel Challenge, Camp Perry and the Masters. The Bar Sto barrels are a standard for the U.S. Marine Corps Marksman Unit. A drop-in barrel will have a smooth fit with a specific slide and frame design, without requiring the use of tools. In contrast, Bar-Sto barrels are semi-drop-ins. Though the semi-drop in usually requires little or no fitting, in some cases minor adjustments may be required for the perfect fit. When the barrel is correctly installed, Bar-Sto’s goal is to provide a smooth fit, tight lock-up and aftermarket accuracy that rivals or surpasses factory accuracy. This well-respected maker machines the gun barrels from solid stainless steel bar stock and heat treats them for tough tensile strength. We carry the popular Bar Sto conversion barrels that take a Sig Sauer P226, 239 and 229 to 9mm from .40/357. The barrels rate of twist is 1 turn in 16 inches.
